Illusory Journey is an event where you start from scratch and have a limited hero pool to advance through the stages. All progress during the event, including collecting and upgrading heroes, will only apply during the event itself. Upgrades within the event will not have any effect on heroes outside of the event.
More heroes will become available as you clear Stages during the event. Only after meeting the Stage requirements and unlocking a hero will you be able to obtain them. Event Stages begin with single-team battles. As you progress through Stages, multi-team Stages will unlock, requiring up to 3 teams to be deployed.
Once a hero reaches Mythic tier, their Signature Item can be unlocked or enhanced by spending either the hero’s Signature Item or Heavenshards.
Once a hero reaches Ascended tier, their Arcane Energy can be unlocked by spending Mirage Pacts.
