AFK Journey v1.0.11 Patch Notes

Hi everyone, this is the first AFK Journey patch notes that we’re publishing on AFK.Guide. From now on we will make guides for AFK Arena and AFK Journey. Please take a look at the changelog below for the full details regarding the update.

Major Updates

1. Added A-Level Lightbearer Hero: Walker – The Lone Ranger.

2. Added the new Primal Lord feature. You can find the Primal Lord in specific regions where they will awaken and challenge them to compete for leaderboard rewards and qualify for entry into the Eternal Inscription. Those who enter the Eternal Inscription will have their names permanently listed for the Primal Lord challenge on the server.

World

1. Storyline overhaul: The storyline has been reworked. As a result, progress on main and side quests will be reset and story-related items in your Inventory will be removed. Some mail related to the original stories will also be deleted. You’ll have the opportunity to complete the main and side quests to receive the rewards. There will be three new chapters in the game for you to experience.

3. Adjusted the objective and rewards for some of the quests in Growth Path and Growth Trials, and reset the progress for both. You will have the opportunity to complete these quests and claim the rewards again in Growth Path and Growth Trials.

4. Reset the Enemies and Mechanisms entries in Collections, while keeping unlocked Heroes entries.

5. Removed the Cairn Posting sites from the original map and deleted all message history. We will provide a new set of Cairn Posting sites for you to leave messages in the new World map.

6. Corrupt Creature invitations, assistance requests, and thank you messages posted by players before the update will be removed.

Hero Skills

1. Added Hero Mastery that are unlocked after reaching Legendary+ tier.

2. Adjusted the unlock requirements for Exclusive Skills from Mythic to Mythic+. After the update, your heroes’ Exclusive Equipment levels will be reset.

3. Adjusted the unlock requirements for Enhancement Skills from Legendary to Supreme. After the update, the status of your heroes’ Enhancement Skills will be reset.

4. Removed the item requirement to unlock a hero’s Exclusive Equipment. Heroes will now automatically receive their Exclusive Equipment at level +0 when they reach Mythic+.

5. Adjusted the stat bonuses of a hero’s Exclusive Equipment. Exclusive Equipment bonuses from level +16 to +25 no longer increase Rivalry Stats, but instead boost Basic Stats.

Note: Compensation will be provided based on your heroes’ skill development in response to the above adjustments. Please refer to the in-game mail for more details.

Noble Tavern

1. Increased the chance of obtaining A-Level and S-Level heroes in the All-Hero Recruitment and Epic Recruitment in the Noble Tavern.

2. Reduced the maximum number of recruits required for a guaranteed Epic hero in the All-Hero Recruitment from 80 to 60.

3. In Epic Recruitment, if you recruit a duplicate A-Level hero, the number of Soul Sigils you receive for the duplicated hero has been increased from 4 to 5.

Hero Ascension

1. Adjusted the Ascension requirements for A-Level heroes. They will no longer consume Acorns before ascending to the Supreme tier. We’ve also modified the number of Soul Sigils needed for ascending A-Level heroes to ensure a smoother progression experience.

2. Adjusted the Ascension requirements for S-Level heroes. The number of Acorns required to ascend S-Level heroes from Legendary to Legendary+, Mythic to Mythic+, or Supreme to Supreme+ has been adjusted from 50/150/150 to 50/100/200.

3. Ascension requirements for Celestial and Hypogean heroes remain unchanged.

Note: Compensation will be provided based on your heroes’ Ascension development in response to the above adjustments. Please refer to the in-game mail for more details.

Arcane Labyrinth

1. Added the Labyrinth Quest event, where featured heroes will receive bonuses throughout the event period. Participating in the Labyrinth Quests will grant you a chance to earn Point Rewards. With this change, the regular Arcane Labyrinth Weekly Point Rewards have been removed, and both the Point Rewards and Clearance Rewards have been adjusted accordingly.

2. Adjusted the requirements to unlock difficulty levels in the Arcane Labyrinth. Now, when deploying heroes in various difficulties, their tiers will automatically be adjusted to the recommended tier for that difficulty level. In addition, the number of floors in the Arcane Labyrinth has been tailored for each difficulty level.

3. You may always choose to challenge again after winning or losing a battle.

Emporium

1. Removed the General Store. Items previously available in the General Store can now be purchased separately from the Guild Store and the newly added Ironhoof Forge NPC in the World.

2. Removed the Adventure Store. Cosmetic items previously sold in the Adventure Store will return in future updates. As a result, the Antique Coins have been removed.

3. Adjusted the prices of certain items in the Dream Store and Recruitment Store.

4. In response to the removal of Antique Coins, the Antique Coins in your Inventory will be converted to Diamonds. Please refer to the in-game mail for more details.

5. Adjusted the unlock requirements for certain features. Features that you have already unlocked are not affected.

6. Removed the temporary increase in AFK rewards from previous versions.

7. You can now obtain specific materials for each Artifact through Growth Trials.

Experience Optimizations

1. Significantly increased the number of Diamonds rewarded for reaching a tier for the first time in Arena. Compensation will be provided based on your highest historical Arena tier. Please refer to the in-game mail for more details.

2. Added weekly quests for achieving 15 and 20 victories in Arena.

3. Optimized the matchmaking mechanics below Elite I in Arena. Players below Elite I will no longer lose their Arena points.

4. Reduced the storage limit for Warrior’s Guarantee.

5. Added a hero recommendation feature for Dream Realm.

6. Added a new difficulty level to Dream Realm and adjusted all rewards. As a result, the reward progress and Dream Realm rankings will be reset.

7. Adjusted the Diamond rewards for AFK stages appropriately.

8. Adjusted the Diamond cost for Instant AFK.

9. Adjusted the rewards for Legend Trial. Compensation will be provided based on your progress in Legend Trial. Please refer to the in-game mail for more details.

10. Reduced the overall difficulty of battles in Battle Drills.

11. Optimized certain Battle Drills interfaces.

12. Adjusted the icons and names of forging materials. They’re now called Forging Stones. You can use low-level forging stones to craft higher-level forging stones as you become more proficient in the art of forging.

13. Updated the way Forging Level is determined. After the update, Forging Level will take the average level of the Hands of Resonance heroes instead of the lowest level among them.

14. Added Soulstone (A-Level) to Daily Quests rewards.

15. Added new titles and frames.

16. Added a day/night cycle feature.

17. Your friends’ and guildmates’ locations will now be shown on the map.

18. Added automatic pathfinding across different regions, and the Auto Route feature is automatically enabled during Main Quests.

19. Added entries about the Crimson Treasure in the Guide.

20. Changed the refresh time for some stores from every 30 days to a natural monthly reset.

21. Optimized certain Guild interfaces.

22. Optimized the trigger logic for certain red dot prompts.

Combat Mechanics

1. Eironn – Stormsword
– Fixed an issue where Ice Spike’s second attack would sometimes fail to hit the target.

3. Parisa – Woodland Belle
– Remade the skill effect of Flower Power. This skill is now considered a normal attack and its stats have been adjusted accordingly. See the in-game description for details.

4. Kruger – Dauntless Warrior
– Optimized the visual effects of his Ultimate by adjusting the duration of the animation.

5. Salazer – Lash of Bantus
– Optimized the visual effects of his Ultimate by adjusting the duration of the animation.

6. Shakir – Shackled Wolf
– Optimized the visual effects of his Ultimate by adjusting the duration of the animation.

7. Igor – The Mad Dagger
– It will be more difficult to create tombstones with Soul Siphon after the skill has been activated multiple times. See the in-game description for more details.
– The percentage of HP restored by Soul Siphon after each of Igor’s jumps has been increased. See the in-game description for more details.

8. Dionel – Venus Blade
– Fixed an issue where the ATK SPD bonus from Nectar Feast would not take effect properly at certain levels.

Artifact

1. The additional damage caused by the Artifact – Blazing Spell based on the enemy’s lost HP will not exceed a specific multiple of your Team ATK. See the in-game description for more details

2. The damage caused by the Artifact – Starshard Spelll will not exceed a specific multiple of your Team ATK. See the in-game description for more details.

Honor Duel Adjustments

1. Added 6 Artifacts exclusive to the Honor Duel mode.

2. Reworked the skill effects of the following Artifacts: Golden Blooms, Immortal Flame, Proud Greaves, Crystal Cell. See the in-game description for details.

3. The following equipment has been nerfed: Exquisite Leather, Crimson Abyss, Decaying Ring, Gaze of Power. See the in-game description for details.

4. The following equipment has been buffed: Frost Walker. See the in-game description for details.

5. Certain heroes will receive buffs or nerfs specifically for Honor Duel. See the in-game description for more details.

6. Adjusted the number of heroes available in Honor Duel. You can now choose from 32 designated heroes. The specific list can be viewed in-game, and we’re considering rotating the designated heroes list in future updates.

7. Adjusted the way Honor Badges are earned. See the in-game description for more details.

8. Adjusted the way Honor Points are earned. As your Honor Points increase, it will become increasingly challenging to raise them further. Additionally, any ongoing Honor Duel challenge will be terminated with this update, partially resetting your Honor Points. After the reset, if your original points were higher, you will start over with higher initial points.

9. Optimized certain Honor Duel interfaces.
