Hi everyone, AFK Journey has announced the v1.1.17 global patch. Please take a look at the changelog below for the full details regarding the update.
In order to improve your game experience, the serve will undergo maintenance on August 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 UTC to update to v1.1.17. You will not be able to log in during this time. For the safety of your account data, please exit the game before the maintenance begins. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Major Updates
1. Adding new heroes to the hero list for the All Heroes Available event: Talene, Phraesto, Florabelle, Alsa, Soren, Ulmus, and Ludovic. The number of login days required for a hero draw will be reduced from 7 to 5, and the rewards will be adjusted accordingly. We will provide you with compensation based on your event progress within 3 business days following the version update.
2. We will make the following adjustments to improve your experience in Starter Story:
– Adjusting the unlock conditions of map areas, Arcane Labyrinth, and Trial of Abyss.
– Adjusting the Training Manual rewards in Primal Lord.
– Adjusting the display of the starting level of Resonance Synergy from 240 to 0, without changing the stats or level up bonuses it provides.
3. Adding a new Hero Affinity reward tier that grants Invite Letter x1 upon reaching it.
4. Adding new skins for Odie and Cecia, plus new summer-themed skins in Cosmetics.
5. Adding a new fishing mode that allows you to fish at specific Fishing Spots on the map.
6. Adding a new Story Quest: Before It Rains.
Experience Optimizations
1. Adding a feature that allows you to reclaim the unused Instant AFK rewards from the past few days.
2. Adding several Daily Quests that will grant you extra rewards.
3. Adding images to illustrate certain key elements in skill descriptions for easier understanding.
4. Adding tags to mark your friends and Guild members in Arena and Supreme Arena.
5. Adding a feature to view the challenge records in Dream Realm and Primal Lord.
6. Adding a feature that can automatically change the heroes in your Squad.
7. Reducing the rate at which damage dealt by Season Dream Realm Bosses increases over time in Endless Mode.
8. Reducing the extent of screen brightness changes when heroes use their Ultimate in certain modes.
9. The “Tap to cast Ultimate” option will be disabled by default. If you prefer to have it enabled, you can turn it back on in Settings.
10. Adding Temporal Shards to the Dream Realm daily ranking rewards for players below the top 100 on a server. You can craft 10 Temporal Shards into 1 Temporal Essence.
11. Optimizing the Records feature in certain modes. The system will now recommend formations better aligned with your heroes’ progress.
12. Improving the time limit description in Dura’s Trials for easier understanding.
13. Fixing the issue where the Merc Captain in Arcane Labyrinth was too difficult to defeat due to his frequent use of healing skills
14. Adjusting the combat difficulty of some Solo Crucible challenges to allow you to make better use of the buff they provide.
15. Optimizing the art design of certain AFK Stage battlefields.
16. Optimizing the display logic of viewable players on the map.
17. Optimizing the trigger logic for red dot prompts.
18. Optimizing the quest experience and character performance and animations in specific stories.
19. Updating the default recommended heroes for the Hero Wish List of new players.
20. The “push boulder” and “pressure plate” puzzles on the map will disappear once solved.
21. A beta version of split-screen and multi-window mode is now available on select Android devices (requires the latest game version). We look forward to hearing your feedback.
Combat Mechanics
1. Lyca – Keeper of Glades
– Fixing the description error of the Nova Fall skill to make sure it aligns with the skill’s actual effects
2. Thoran – The Fallen King
– Optimizing the description of his Resurrection skill. The actual effect remains consistent with the original.
3. Shakir – Furious Howl
– Optimizing the landing tile selection logic of his Ravaging Claws Ultimate during auto-cast. Shakir will no longer land on top of an enemy before being pushed aside in a fixed direction.
4. Talene – Resurging Flame
– Fixing the issue where the Divine Conflagration Ultimate would not properly benefit from her Ultimate Power attribute.
– Optimizing the target tile selection logic of her Divine Conflagration Ultimate during the Dream Realm battle against Skyclops. After the adjustment, Talene will be able to eliminate the Skyclops’ summons more efficiently.
– Optimizing Talene’s preview animation in her display interface.
5. Ludovic – Wreathed Eternalist
– Optimizing the target tile selection logic when repositioning the everbloom field with the Ethereal Blooms skill. The field will now prioritize covering the weakest ally while covering as many enemies and allies as possible.
6. Satrana – Ember Enchantress
– Fixing the issue where her “Ignite Passions” skill would sometimes fail to ignite enemies who can revive, such as Thoran.
7. Granny Dahnie – Forest Guardian
– Fixing the issue where her Haste would reduce the control duration of her Threshold of Jade Ultimate’s on enemies.
8. Viperian – Shadow Serpent
– Fixing the issue where Viperian would burn more HP than usual when creating Darkvipers with the Spiritual Viper Ultimate due to certain Battle Drills mechanics.
Bug Fix
1. Fixing the issue where Power values would appear abnormally high in certain modes after entering some modes, such as Trial of Abyss. After this fix, your Power may seem lower than before in some modes, but this is only a display adjustment, your actual stats remain unchanged.
2. Fixing the incorrect order in which some recruitment results are shown. This fix does not affect your actual recruitment results.
Honor Duel Adjustments
1. Increasing the strength of some Epic Equipment. Please check in-game descriptions for details.
2. Using an Artifact that benefits only a specific hero will boost that hero’s chances of appearing in the store.
