The Midwinter Carnival is available for 20 days. It is a special event where you can earn lots of rewards, including a Lucilla skin for free, and also buy a new Liberta skin. During the event, you can explore Roving Squad map with Liberta and Lucilla, inviting different heroes as festival guests and receiving rewards. The strength of enemies is based upon each player’s own strength. Enemies’ strength levels will not change during the event. Once the event starts, one new area can be unlocked and explored each day. The areas can only be explored in the order that they were unlocked.
While exploring, you can invite festival guests in different areas to gradually enliven the celebrations. On your journey, you will also encounter guests with various interests, who can help you in your exploration and battles once they join your team.
While exploring the Roving Squad map, players can unlock an area’s powerful enemies after completing the area’s storyline, and then fight the powerful enemies.
Players can also collect Heirlooms on the map. When fighting powerful enemies, each team of players can arm themselves with a maximum of three Heirlooms to increase their strength.
Celebration Register
As you can see on the image above, the Celebration Register records the heroes that can be invited during the Midwinter Carnival. You can view the criteria for inviting each hero on the list. The arrival of each hero will enliven the celebration and increase its popularity points.
You can also acquire popularity points by upgrading the various facilities in the celebration, by completing the celebration events refreshed daily, and by compelting random events occuring in the celebration. Random events occur daily on Roving Squad map for the first 14 days of the celebration.
Two new celebratory events are added to the Celebration Center every day. Invite appropriate heroes to participate in the events to receive additional rewards. After an event has begun, you can check the celebration progress every day via the Celebration Log in the Celebration Center. Meanwhile, you may find out about the criteria for inviting some of the mystery heroes from the Diary. During the event, you may complete different side quests every day to acquire Fun Moments, which can be viewed anytime on the Celebration Center’s Highlights page.
Heroes in the celebration are categorized into invited and guest heroes. Invited heroes can be used as mercenaries to help in all battles.
Each player is ranked on the leaderboard based on the number of heroes they have invited. The more heroes invited, the higher your ranking.
